Copyright & DMCA Policy

This policy explains how BridgeThis handles copyright complaints, takedown requests, counter-notices, and repeat infringement concerns.

Last updated: June 21, 2026

1. Overview

BridgeThis respects intellectual property rights. Users may not upload, post, send, sell, or share content they do not have the right to use, including copyrighted code, designs, text, images, files, brand assets, project materials, or portfolio work.

This policy explains how copyright owners can report allegedly infringing content on BridgeThis and how users can respond if they believe their content was removed by mistake.

2. User responsibility

Users are responsible for the content they submit to BridgeThis, including project listings, developer profiles, portfolio links, messages, files, images, code, and delivery materials. By submitting content, users represent that they own it or have permission to use and share it.

3. Copyright takedown notices

If you believe content on BridgeThis infringes your copyright, you may send a copyright complaint through the Contact page. To help us review the request, include:

  • Your full name and contact information.
  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
  • The URL or location of the content on BridgeThis.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate.
  • A statement that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

4. Removal or restriction of content

BridgeThis may remove, disable, restrict, or preserve content if we believe it may infringe intellectual property rights, violate our Terms, create legal risk, or harm users or the platform.

5. Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake, you may contact BridgeThis through the Contact page with a counter-notice. Include enough detail for us to understand the removed content, why you believe you had the right to post it, and how we can contact you.

6. Repeat infringers

BridgeThis may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights or repeatedly submit content that creates copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, or platform safety risk.

7. No legal advice

BridgeThis cannot provide legal advice about copyright ownership, licensing, fair use, work-for-hire, open-source licenses, or other intellectual property issues. Users should consult a qualified attorney when needed.

8. Designated agent

BridgeThis is preparing for public launch. We may add a formal DMCA designated agent and dedicated copyright notice email as the platform grows. Until then, copyright concerns can be submitted through the Contact page.
